Dirk Montgomery
Chief Executive Officer, Pollo Tropical
Dirk Montgomery is currently the President and CEO for Pollo Tropical, joining the brand in 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer and head of supply chain management and IT. Prior to his time at Pollo Tropical, Mr. Montgomery has over 20 years of retail and restaurant industry experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Supply Chain leader with leading companies such as Bloomin’ Brands, L Brands and Ascena Retail Group.
At Bloomin’ Brands, he was instrumental in the turnaround of the holding company that operates major restaurant brands such as Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill, which ultimately led to the IPO of BLMN. Mr. Montgomery has also served on a number of non-profit boards including The University of Tampa and The Berkeley Preparatory School, and received a B.A. in Accounting with honors from Miami University (Ohio) and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.
