John brings over 30 years of restaurant industry leadership, with deep expertise in culinary operations, supply chain strategy, and scalable growth. Most recently, he served as Chief Culinary and Procurement Officer at Chuy’s Holdings, Inc., where he led sourcing and culinary initiatives across nearly 100 locations. His tenure at Chuy’s included roles as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Culinary Operations, where he helped preserve the brand’s commitment to scratch-made Tex-Mex while optimizing procurement systems for national expansion.
Earlier in his career, John held executive roles at Sam Seltzer’s Steak House, Cooker Bar & Grille, and Houston’s Restaurants, where he oversaw the opening of more than 30 new units and built high-performing back-of-house teams.
