Jon W. Howie is a seasoned financial executive with over three decades of leadership across prominent restaurant and hospitality brands. He has held senior roles including Chief Financial Officer at Chuy’s Holdings, Inc., where he served from 2011 and was appointed to the board of directors in 2018. Prior to Chuy’s, Mr. Howie was CFO of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Inc., guiding the company through key phases of growth and operational expansion.
Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Inc., where he held multiple leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller. His foundational experience comes from professional roles including Sr. Manager at Grant Thornton LLP and Ernst & Young LLP, where he specialized in audit and advisory services for both public and private companies.
Mr. Howie is a Certified Public Accountant and brings a strategic, operations-focused approach to financial leadership, with a track record of driving performance across multi-brand restaurant portfolios.
